Siemens launches expanded technology portfolio for process, manufacturing industries in Iran
More than 200 professionals from the chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas sectors have joined Siemens at an event to launch an expanded technology portfolio for a stronger, more competitive industrial landscape in Iran.

The expanded Siemens portfolio includes technology for the industrial process sector which is now available in the Iranian market for the first time. A key component of this the company’s Integrated Drive System (IDS). The IDS and accompanying portfolio is designed to continuously improve the reliability, safety, and efficiency of processes and plants.
Siemens also presented process solutions, including the latest version of the SIMATIC PCS 7; a distributed control system for integrated automation which includes everything required for the full automation of an entire production process, in both oil and gas and process plants.
