Head of Nanotechnology Development Secretariat of the Presidential Office’s Science and Technology Department announced that Iran and Russia have agreed on the transfer and exchange of nanotechnology.
“It was decided in the nano workgroup in the Third Iran-Russia Technology Cooperation meeting that Iran would transfer nano carbon tubes to Russia and in return receive anti-corrosion coverings from Russia,” said Saeed Sarkar, reported IRNA.
Noting that Iran and Russia have made good progress in the field of nanotechnology, he said, “Cooperation with Russia in the field of science and technology would benefit both countries.”
Sarkar concluded, “Fortunately Iran has a favorable international status in advanced technologies such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, cognitive science and convergent technologies.”
